About The Design 

Anandibai Gopal Joshi (1865–1887) was among the first Indian women to earn a degree in Western medicine. At just 19, she travelled to the United States to study — at a time when women were barely allowed education, let alone ambition.

This design is part of The Unforgotten — a series dedicated to women whose bravery shaped generations but whose stories are rarely celebrated loudly enough.

This is not fashion nostalgia.

This is reclamation.
